Support Desk for Event Hire Questions

Whether you are chasing a delivery window for a Pretoria birthday or checking whether side panels are needed for a windy Winelands marquee, this is where you find the right next step. Tell us the date, the venue surface and your guest count, and we will point you to the correct hire list, quote form or setup note.

Before you send a request, these are worth a look

Most support questions come down to the same three things: what the hire package actually includes, how quantities are checked against a guest list, and what happens on delivery day. The pages below answer those in detail.

Three starting points

Stretch Tent Marquee Package

Questions we get before a hire list is confirmed

Most of what slows a booking down is small and fixable. These are the points that come up again and again when people are sorting out a wedding, a birthday or a year-end function.

How far in advance should I send my list?

For peak Saturdays between October and March, four to six weeks gives us room to hold stock and plan a delivery slot. Midweek and off-season dates are usually fine with two weeks. If your guest count is still moving, send the list anyway and flag it as provisional.

Do you deliver outside the main city areas?

Yes. We cover venues across Gauteng, the Western Cape and surrounding farm and estate locations. Transport is quoted per route, so a venue with a long gravel access road or a steep driveway is priced differently from a city hall. Share the exact address and we will confirm the schedule.

Can I change quantities after I send the list?

Up to a week before delivery, yes, as long as the items are still available. Chair and table counts are the ones that shift most, so update those first. Additions inside the last few days depend on what is back from other events.

What happens if something breaks or goes missing?

Crockery, cutlery and glassware are counted on return, and shortfalls are noted against your list. We explain the breakage terms before you confirm, so the numbers are clear from the start rather than arriving as a surprise afterwards.

Do you set up the tents and furniture yourselves?

Stretch tents, dance floors and larger marquees come with a staffed crew because the rigging and anchoring need to be done properly. Chairs, tables and tableware are usually delivered stacked and packed, with setup available on request for bigger functions.

Where do I go if my question is not answered here?

Getting help with your hire list

Most questions land in one of three places: a quote that needs adjusting, a delivery window that has to move, or an item you are not sure we carry. Pick the route below that matches your situation and we will take it from there.

Quote and availability

Send your list through with the event date, venue and guest count. We check stock against your date and come back with what is held and what needs a substitute.

Delivery and setup

Questions about access roads, anchor surfaces, side panels for windy sites or a staffed setup crew for larger functions go to the logistics desk. Include a photo of the site if the ground is uneven.

Returns and breakage

Crockery, cutlery and glassware are counted on return. If something cracked during the function, tell us before collection so the count is settled in one pass instead of a back-and-forth.

Reach the desk directly

Phone is fastest for date changes and urgent site questions. Email works better when you are attaching a floor plan, a guest list or photos of the venue.
