Hire items for weddings, parties and corporate days

Every listing here shows size, finish, quantity on hand and the setup notes that matter on site, from stretch tent anchoring on gravel to how many tiffany chairs fit a trestle without crowding. Filter by event type, guest count and venue, then keep the pieces you want in a quote list.

What the hire catalogue actually covers

Every listing on this page is written the way a setup crew talks about it: what the item is made of, how many we hold in stock, and what the venue needs to look like before it arrives. Filter by event type, guest count or venue, then add items to a quote list.

Cover and rigging

Stretch tents anchored on grass, gravel or paving, with side panels for exposed sites. Sizes are quoted by covered area, and the crew confirms the anchor method after checking the surface.

Seating and tables

Tiffany chairs in clear, white and olive, paired with trestle tables in standard banquet lengths. A layout sheet shows how many seats fit per table without crowding the aisle.

Linen and drapery

Tablecloths, runners and napkins cut to match the table size, plus ceiling and wall drapery for marquees. Fabric is checked and pressed before each booking leaves the depot.

Table settings

Dinner and side plates, cutlery sets, water and wine glasses, cake stands and platters. Packed in crates for collection, with breakage terms and return counts explained before the event.

Buffet and catering gear

Catering warmers listed with tray size and power draw, so you know what the venue needs to supply. Useful for long dinner services where food has to hold temperature.

Site extras and crews

Generators, dance floors, mobile bars and fairy lights, plus staffed setup crews for larger functions. Delivery and collection windows are scheduled around your ceremony and dinner times.

Not sure how the booking side works? Read the hire process, or send your list through via contact and we will confirm availability for your date.

How hire terms are read on this page

Catalogue entries describe what we hold, not what a venue will allow. Before you send a quote list, these are the points that most often cause a back-and-forth later.

Quantities are indicative

Stock counts shown per item reflect what is generally on the floor, not a hold on your date. A tiffany chair listing of 300 does not mean 300 are free on a Saturday in December. Availability is confirmed only once your list is submitted with the event date and venue.

Setup notes are not a site survey

Notes on anchoring, surface type and side panels are guidance drawn from past installs. They do not replace a look at your actual ground. Grass that drains poorly, steep paving or a narrow gate can change the rigging plan, and the crew confirms the method on arrival.

Delivery and collection windows

Drop-off and pickup are scheduled around your ceremony and dinner times, not around a fixed daily slot. Venues with limited access hours, shared loading bays or no after-hours entry need to be flagged early so the transport plan matches the venue rules.

Breakage and return counts

Crockery, cutlery and glassware are counted out and counted back in crates. Missing or broken pieces are reconciled against the packing list after collection. This is why we ask for a final guest count before confirming the delivery window rather than estimating from the first enquiry.

Power and warmers

Catering warmers are listed with tray size and power draw. If your venue has no reliable supply near the buffet, generator hire is added as a separate line. We do not assume a plug point exists because a hall is indoors.

Packages versus single items

Ready-to-book packages group items that are normally hired together, such as chairs with trestle tables and matched linen. You can still take single items, but mixing finishes across two suppliers is the usual reason a dining room looks uneven in photographs.

Anything not stated here, including transport routes to outlying farms and staffed setup for larger functions, is confirmed in writing when your list is reviewed. Send the list through and we will come back with availability and the schedule for your date.

Hire items, listed the way you actually book them

Every entry below names the finish, the sizes on the shelf and what the crew needs to know before delivery. Sort by event type, guest count or venue surface, then add what fits to a quote list.

Stretch Tent Marquee Package

Weather-ready cover for 80 to 200 guests

The stretch tent package is built around a tensioned fabric roof that can be anchored on grass, gravel or paving, so it suits farm weddings in the Cape Winelands as well as garden parties in Pretoria. Each booking includes the tent skin, poles, ratchet straps, ground anchors and optional side panels for exposed sites. Sizes are quoted by covered area rather than seat count, and the crew confirms the anchor method after a quick look at the venue surface. Delivery, setup and collection are scheduled around your ceremony and dinner times.

Tiffany Chair and Trestle Table Set

Seating and dining layout for formal receptions

This set pairs tiffany chairs with trestle tables so the dining room reads as one scheme instead of a mix of borrowed furniture. Chairs come in clear, white and olive finishes, and tables are quoted in the standard lengths used for banquet seating. Linen, runners and napkins are matched to the table size, and the layout sheet shows how many seats fit per table without crowding. Quantities are checked against your final guest list before the delivery window is confirmed.

Table Setting and Catering Warmers

Crockery, cutlery, glassware and warmers in one list

The table setting package covers the items that are easy to under-order: dinner and side plates, cutlery sets, water and wine glasses, cake stands and serving platters. Catering warmers are added for buffets that need to hold temperature through a long dinner service, and each warmer is listed with its tray size and power requirement. Breakage terms and return counts are explained up front so there are no surprises after the event. Glassware and crockery are packed in crates for straightforward collection.
